A newly built apartment, designed from the ground up to reflect the lifestyle of its owners. The Flussocreativo studio was involved from the earliest stages of construction, when only pillars and floors had been completed—an ideal condition for shaping the space freely, based on real living needs. Instead of the originally planned four-room layout, a spacious and airy three-room apartment was created, featuring a large open-plan living area and a layout defined on paper even before construction began.
The home spans 97 square meters indoors, plus over 40 square meters of outdoor space distributed across two balconies. But the true outdoor heart is the rooftop terrace of the same size, for exclusive use, transformed into a genuine elevated urban oasis with a private pool, gazebo, lounge area, and a utility room equipped with laundry and storage.
Inside, the use of plasterboard for partition walls allowed great design freedom and the introduction of distinctive elements such as the double arch between the dining and kitchen areas. The project emphasizes soft lines and refined details, enhanced by a sophisticated color palette: from the deep commodore green of the kitchen, to the sage green in the living room, and the Filicudi blue of the sleeping area. This chromatic consistency visually links the spaces and strengthens their identity.
The open-plan living space is the focal point of the home, infused with retro and ethnic touches: oak herringbone parquet flooring, vintage beveled tiles highlighted by LED strips in the sofa niche, and a kitchen framed by two arches, with jungle-inspired wallpaper adding depth and character. A harmonious and welcoming composition where volumes interact with balance.
Two large French doors connect the living area to the covered loggia terrace, paved with wood-effect porcelain tiles and furnished with a table and armchairs. A green wall with various plant species ensures privacy and visual continuity with the interiors, turning this area into a true extension of the living space.
The sleeping area is designed for comfort. The master bedroom functions like a small suite, with a sleeping area, a study with a window, and a walk-in wardrobe. Blue walls define the spaces and feature decorative wallpaper that adds visual depth. The two bathrooms, both located in the sleeping area, offer privacy and practicality: the first is en-suite to the master bedroom, while the second, larger one, features a central column separating the sanitaryware from the sink area. Here, the palette warms up with soft pinks, yellows, and ceramic and resin surfaces that enhance the natural light.
A shared stairway leads to the exclusive rooftop, a true open-air extension of the home designed for socializing and well-being. The pool, gazebo, lounge area, and utility room harmonize with a residential complex designed to highlight outdoor spaces as an integral part of daily life. The building follows principles of sustainability and energy efficiency: thermal insulation, centralized underfloor heating, mechanical ventilation, and photovoltaic systems.
